Tulips on Saturday

So ... on Wednesday I bought some lovely tulips at Safeway. Here it is Saturday
and I'm still loving having them on the dinning room table.
So happy that I bought two bunches!

As you can see all of Christmas is put away and we are in full gear
for the new year. I'm always sad to see it go. Christmas is my Favorite!

I'm not making any great New Year resolutions. I've thought about it, a lot,
and I'm just really wanting to be a better wife, mom, daughter and sister.
I don't exactly want to be so much thinner as more healthy.
I don't really want to read the bible in a year, but actually work on
my relationship with my Savior.
I think if I can accomplish that, I'll be happy!

I have a few projects that I am working on. Mostly small, easy, quick projects.
You know I love the easy stuff.
We have some HUGE projects to do on the house.
Paint (exterior)
Roof repair (hopefully not a new roof)

What about you?
Any big plans?

I should try to decorate more beautifully! What a lovely arrangement you put together. I have a vase of roses to enjoy this week! Happy weekend! Hugs!

Love your tulips, they look fabulous and your arrangement on the table is so pretty.

That sounds perfect. Better and deeper but without any official numbers. I like it. Good plan!

Those tulips are just so sweet. I love your idea about NOT making any resolutions just looking to better your relationship with our Lord. Wow, what a great start to the new year.

Hugs,

Debbie

I love the whole vignette on your table. I always forget about Fresh Cut Friday but I sure love it. Need to mark my calendar. :)

Those are some nice resolutions you have made for yourself. Yes, the more you can avoid having to replace your roof, the better. However, that might be a good chance to give it maybe a second, third and fourth look and see what it is you really want to do with it, or rather how you think it has to look. Anyway, thanks for sharing that, Liz! I wish you all the best!
