Meet Bob And Becky

Hello! I would like for you to meet my new, old friends, Bob and Becky.

This is Bob and his little puppy, Blacken.

This is Becky and her little puppy, Buffy.

These two little precious-es sat on my sweet Grandmother's kitchen window sill for many, many years. I think that they were named Bob, after my dad, and Becky, for his sister, my Aunt Becky.

Aren't they cute?

Oh, so sweet, how blessed to have something handed down from family! Thank you for visiting and leaving your kind comment on my "Strolling along Memory Lane..."REDNESDAY"! I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this wicker carriage with the "RED" and white gingham hood and "RED" wheels.

If these are the Hummel figurines, you really have a rare treasure. I have several of that group. Nothing more precious that having one of your loved ones most prized possession.

Sue McPeak said...

OhMyGosh Gal...those are wonderful figurines and I think LV is right about them being Hummels. I think I saw them featured on a Hummel Calendar from the 1970's.

Wonderful Family Heirlooms with great story. Thanks for sharing and for visiting CollectInTexas Gal for VTT.

Poor Blacken is losing his blacken. Actually, I think the missing paint adds character.

Cute! I recently bought some napkin rings that have little doggies on them that look just like Blacken!

Bob and Becky are adorable! And how special that they come with fond memories for you. The little vignette you've displayed them in is wonderful.

Please stop by my cottage and get the details for the three linky parties I'm starting up the first week of June. They'll be loads of fun.

Have a great Memorial weekend!

Oh my...how darling! They have the most precious little faces!

I used to love to sit and admire all of the lovlies in my GiGi's window. It is where she kept her most adored goodies. She said it was because she stood there the most washing dishes and wanted to be surrounded by the things she loved;)!

Love this post!

Enjoy!
