Do you wear super dark colors?

BIBLE JOURNALING

Hey there!
Happy Sunday!
Just thought that I would pop in and show you some
Bible Journaling that I did in Jonah.

I can't believe how often I have read the story of Jonah and the whale and missed the
whole point! God wants everyone saved. YES! EVERYONE!
Whether we think they are qualified or not!

That means that EVERYONE I see matters to Jesus!

I'll say it again...
YES! EVERYONE!

Jonah is little book with a lot to say!

Color of the Week!

So glad your joining me tonight.

Today I showing you a fabulous matte polish.

Essie's Cashmere Matte collection has some
awesome soft neutrals, so I thought I would try one.

This is Comfy in Cashmere.

In the past I have not had a good luck with matte finishes.
They typically chip very quickly and there is no top coat that you
can apply to protect the finish.
So far, I'm really liking this one. I'm on the 4th day and
it is still looking good!

What about you? Have you tried a matte finish?

Color Of The week!

OPI has a new collection out!
It's called Venice and you can check it out here.

I used some restraint and only picked one color.
Worth A Pretty Penne

This was a very quick drying polish. Unfourtunatly it
hasn't worn as well as most of my OPI polishes do.
None the less, the color is beautiful on. Kind of a
rose gold.

2016's Agenda

Sunday I spent the day setting up my 2016 planner.
I just figured it was Labor Day and I might as well just
get it done... Right?
After all, we are on the down hill slide to the end of the year!
Before you know it I'll be complaining that I don't
have time to do Christmas cards.

I'll give you a little tour, cuz it's pretty cute!

I went much smaller this year. This is the Quinn Binder from
Franklin Covey. You can still get one here
I love the gold binder rings.
When I move in, I use the pockets for loyalty cards and things like that.
I also keep extra postage and note cards handy.

I made my custom dividers and I even got a little
Anna Griffith pencil bag. I hit the dollar spot at Target and
for the cute pens and post it notes.

A Note section. This is where I keep page of personal goals as well as for work.
I also am a lister.... A list of movies I want to see, a list of books I want to read, wines I like,
favorite restaurants etc. You get the idea.
&
A little extra paper.

So that's my tour... I can't wait to start using it!
Do you use a planner?

Monday Mani Lady Like Gray

Hello!

Did you think I had fallen off the edge of blogisphere?
Well, I didn't. I actually went on a little trip. I'll  be showing you some
of those pictures later.

So lets get to the mani!

This was a very pretty neutral gray.

Essie's Mochachino
I have had this forever and still love it.
You can still get it because they have moved it to the
permanent collection.

It only takes one thick coat. And I love the silver flash.

So there you have it.
This week's mani.
I hope you are having a great week!

Good Morning Friday!

Just wanted to show off my little Spode spoons that
I picked up at Home Goods last year.

I had put them away in their box and totally forgot about them.

I was going thru the china closet looking for something
(I don't remember what) and came across them.

I asked myself "What am I saving these for?"
So I put them in my little marmalade jar next to the
coffee pot.

Do you ever do things like that?

Monday's Manicure

I'm so glad you popped by.
I have a fun Manicure to show off today.
Here's the thing.... one coat of color. That's right.
ONE COAT. I couldn't believe it either.
And the green is the perfect shade for me.
I really love it!

Essie First Timer and Mesmerized
Both from the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection.
Funny thing is... you can actually get them at Ulta.

So that's it.
I hope you are having a great week.

Monday's Manicure

Oh! My! Gosh!
August is finally here,
but will the heat ever come to an end?
Well, at least we're in the bottom half of the summer!

I picked a super hot summer color this week.
Go With The Lava Flow from the OPI Hawaii collection

Love it! Lots of color and great wearing too.

Monday's Manicure

Hello!
How ya doing?

Here's this week's manicure.

Let me just first say...

I am not a pink kind of girl.
I am a bling kind of girl!

I  don't typically wear pink ... ever.
But I had purchased this pink for a nude gradient a few weeks ago and some how
when I put it away it ended up next to my favorite glitter of all time Traffic Stopper Copper.

For some reason I thought they would look great together.
And they do.
Sadly... now I have a manicure that doesn't match anything in my closet.
Sigh... yes, I know...first world problems.

Sephora Traffic Stopper Copper
Cover Girl Outlast Bon Bon

And now for something totally random.

I received a sample of the Benefit mascara "they're Real!"
in my Birch Box. I don't normally share when I get it because
I rarely buy anything from the samples. I do, however, still
love getting them in the mail and trying things that I would never pay
for a full size just to try.  That being said, I just want to share that I feel I may
have found the Holy Grail of all mascaras. I love this stuff. I love the brush.
I love how it stays on all day. I love how it actually makes these 52 year old lashes look
full and long.  If you have tried this mascara, let me know. I would love to know
what you think.

If you don't like this brand, what brand do you like?
