Woods Ware

This is another little Goodwill find. I saw this and picked it up then proceeded to put it back....Which I can't believe now because I love it. The top is missing but it is still so cute. So after walking the store I went back and picked it up.
 I knew I could do something with it.  The stamp on the bottom is;
 Enoch Woods
English scenery
Woods Ware
Wood & Sons
England

I put a little votive in it and set it in the kitchen.

 Perfection!
I'm joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Table Top Tuesday and
You should too!

I almost forgot to remind you.
Friday is Fresh-Cut Friday.
Hope you will be able to join in.

Looks awesome, like it totally belongs there!

You should consider actually pouring a candle in it - make it a two or three wick. Would be nice.

It would look great with a violet in it also. It is a great match for your dishes.

Love that little find from Goodwill! I have been just starting to collect all blue and white pottery pieces. I have just fell in love with all of it...whether its worth money or not. I suppose I will get lucky with a piece here or there in my ignorance...but I do love it regardless. Happy to meet you ...I love your blog...you can follow me at lovingallthingsfrench.blogspot.com if you want...I dont think that comes up here. Not sure yet how to do these blogging parties/events...I would like to participate for fun and also to get some more followers to my blog...Im a bit lonely there! (I do it mostly for myself thus far anyway...but still). My art blog has lots of followers but not so much my interior design type blog...well, Peace, Laura

I also have the lid that goes on that sugar bowl. I would be happy to send it to you -- visit linesfromlinderhof.com and email me if you would like the lid that goes with your sugar bowl. Long story which I will send with lid!

Wow, it's gorgeous. Just yesterday I passed on a few things at the Goodwill that I liked, and I've been kicking myself all day. Wonder if they are still there.

That is beautiful. I love blue and white china. I don't know why, but my favorite tea cups are the blue ones. This looks lovely with the candle.
