Another Rose Vignette

Just a dozen roses from my back yard. Almost spent, but not quite!

Does anybody else notice that the flowers from your garden (in my case, I use the term 'garden' loosely!) have so much more fragrance than from the florist? I even find that each variety has it's own aromatic character. They all smell like roses though.... but, yet, each is unique to itself.... Kinda makes you go....hhhmm..

I stand amazed at His creation!

I miss my rose garden. Mostly gifts from my daughter. I am looking forward to having another one and just bought three rose bushes a couple of days ago. The roses are lovely! Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh so beautiful roses! In Beaverton, Oregon (20 years ago)I had a rose bush that grew like a weed. Beautiful yellow roses, they smelled so good!

What beautiful roses Liz!! They do seem to smell sweeter, why is that? Maybe because they're fresher? You'll have to figure that one out for us. ;)

Beautiful! I love roses. I know what you mean about the florist flowers not having much of a scent.

We adore Roses! There's 140 bushes that surround our front yard and when they're in bloom the scent is very intoxicating. We've still got a l-o-n-g wait for ours to bloom. Thank you, for reminding me of what we've got to look forward to.

Sweet wishes,
Sara
