Vintage Kitties

Has anyone else ever noticed that vintage paintings of kittens are usually kinda creepy? Hmmm? Maybe it's just me?

I Hope you are having a lovely Saturday. It has been overcast and humid here. I have a 50% and a 40% off coupon that I need to use at JoAnn....okay, alright!... I don't NEED to...I WANT to! My goal is to have all of my Christmas crafts done early so that the gifts and cards can be in the mail by the last weekend of November. A lofty aspiration if I do say so myself!

Its another Pink Saturday in Blogland. And today I'm sharing my cute kitty Midge a.k.a. Poopsilla, Midgekins, Scooter, Senorita Cranky Pants or Senorita Sassy Pants, and many more that I can't even remember right now.

Midge is our little rescue kitty that we got from the pound.
She was supposed to be a tiny little thing, so we named her Midge,
short for Midget. However, she has become very pudgey!
She is missing a leg. But makes up for the missing leg in personality.

We love her just the way she is!

Here Kitty Kitty....

A couple of weeks ago I did a post about my little hutch. A couple of you ladies made some kind comments about the little kitty figurne that I had on one of the shelves. So I thought I would share the story.....Sounds dramatic, huh?
There really isn't a story. :) hehehe
Aren't they sweet? When I was eight my very bestest friend in the whole world gave me this little dime store schotzkie for my birthday. Her name was Kim. She had a scar on her lip and incredibly curly hair. (not the pretty kind) But she was a sweetie to give me something that I still love and reminds me of her soooo many years ago. I hope she is happy!
I love these little kittens. They don't have any marking at all.
But they are lovely!
