Weekend Wrap-Up

Hello, my lovelies!
So glad your here!

I thought that I would give you a run down on a really fun and busy weekend!

As always, Friday kicks off the weekend.
I met "The Bride" (my girl) and we went over our
design idea for "the big project"! Then it was on to
Home Depot to get supplies and have the wood cut.
Those guys are so helpful!

We picked her colors and had the paint mixed. We then took all
of the supplies back to the house to get ready for a full Saturday.

Early Saturday morning we headed to the wedding venue to go over the
itinerary and make sure we have everything organized and ready to go
as far as the rentals, DJ, bar etc.
This picture was taken from the garage... It was the kind of day
that we are praying for on the 24th of November.

Then back to the house to work on "The Project".
We worked until 10:00pm but it all turned out perfectly!
I was amazed! I am dying to share the whole thing with
you .... but I promised I wouldn't. I will
later though. :)
It's so CUTE!

Sunday morning hubby and I made a unanimous decision to stay home from church.
I was gone all last weekend and he still had a lot of work left to do on a contract.
So I got the Chemex out and made a pot. During the week we use the
Keurig, but the weekends are perfect for the pour over!
LOVE it!

I also did all the updates on my computer. I put it off as long as I
could and just couldn't put it off any more. I hate doing them.
It takes forever and then there are always changes and things to
be re-learned. UGH!
Am I the only one that hates the updates?

Sunday afternoon included a little bit of gardening.
Fall really is like a second Spring here.
The roses are coming back, the winter grass is coming in....

and everything is blooming!

The weekend ended at Tutti Santi for a lovely
birthday dinner! I love this place.

I have a few things to share this week, so come back and check in!

That does sound like a fun and productive weekend. We like them that way too. Your daughter is just beautiful and I know she must be so excited. :)

Thanks for your sweet comment about my fall wreath. You made my day because it's an oldie!
