The Wisdom of Listening

I'm in a listening mode. Do you ever find yourself there?
I know that I inqure an awful lot of God, but do I spend enough time listening to Him?
His answers are always there if we are willing to listen.

Seeking wisdom instead of sharing it. It is a concept that I am still learning far into my
middle years.

Good morning, Liz,

Listening is a talent, a God given one, in fact. Some have been blessed with it more than others, but it can be nurtured and developed, just like the clarity of a great soprano's voice. Practice makes perfect.

Happy weekend, to you!

I'm becoming a better listener with age. It definitely takes more effort doesn't it? :)

Being "still" is something I am always in need of working on. HOWEVER, I do talk to God during the day and THANK Him for his blesings..like a gorgeous sunset, a beautiful breeze blowing, the gift of a yellow butterfly or even a praying mantis who is inquisitive of my presence in "his world" in my yard. I do believe whole heartedly that if we are open to receive, then God speaks to us. He whispers in our ears.

Beautiful words today, Liz. Sorry I've been absent to visit. My days are too busy to have much time at the computer.

Much love and have a blessed day,

Becky

We learn so much when we listen, Liz! In our family, I was taught that God answers our prayers in one of three ways -- Yes, No, or Not Just Yet. Wishing you a lovely week.
