My last Tablescape of the year will look very similar my first Tablescape of 2010.
This was our Christmas Day Tablescape and will be our
New Year's Day Tablescape as well.
New Year's Day Tablescape as well.
It will be the last of the Christmas decor. Next weekend I will start the process of taking it all down. Handsome Hubs already said its time for the lights to come down. I am amazed that even though when I am done with the Christmas decorating I love it, I still love it when it comes down. Everything looks clean and new again.
What was on our Menu?
Tortilla Soup
Red and Green Tamales
Ham

Love that color of blue and white together. Where I lived before here, I did my kitchen in white and cobalt blue and loved it - someone else is enjoying it now. Know what you mean about the clean look after everything comes down - I am working on that now.
PRETTY TAble -- but of course my favorite is blue and white!
I love the blue and white you used for Christmas. Those lace rounds under the plates are such a sweet touch. I like it.
A very Happy New Year to you and yours...

The blue and white is very pretty. I love the cobalt blue glassware with the pretty dishes.
Happy New year, Liz! You've got a beautiful tablescape. Love the blue and white. This year sure went so fast. We must all have been having fun blogging. Hope the new year brings you much happiness, health, peace and prosperity!...Christine
Hi love the blue and white. Snowflakes are always so pretty to me, especially living in Cali where they are few and far between (or never) See you next year.
Happy New Year

How cool that we both have blue & snowmen in our tablescapes this week. I love your little snowman tablecloth! I also like the idea of hanging your cups from your chandy....wish I'd done something to mine!
Happy 2010 & here's to more tables!
Very pretty! I like how you created a centerpiece by using a tray and grouping things together. Trays are a great way to do that! The blue and white is so striking and is something different for Christmas. Nice that it will work for your New Year's meal as well.
Happy 2010!

Love blue and white anytime. Your table is so pretty. The blue check flatware is great fun. Are they from France?
Happy New Year's Eve! ~ Sarah
What a great tablescape! Your blue and white settings are beautiful and love those goblets. I too like the clean look after Christmas, but I do miss the white lights.

I too never get tired of the Christmas decor. Love the blue and white!

I love your table setting. Your blue and white dishes are SO pretty. The doilies and centerpiece are lovely, too! I am a bit slow in taking my things down...I know you like the clean look but I love all the lights and bling!! To me it is so cozy!! if my tree weren't real, I'd leave it up indefinitely!!
Have a great weekend, Liz!
