Tea and a Chat...

Hello my lovelies!

Time for tea and a chat....

Join me?

I started a new afghan yesterday. It's a granny square with a little
puffy flower in the middle. The squares are small, so it's going to take
a while.

I'm a afraid you are going to get tired of brown and beige before the
thing is done. I might be too! :) But for now, I'm excited about it.

It is supposed to rain this weekend, so I'm hoping to get the house
cleaned up and all my chores done so that I work on this all weekend.
Maybe even put on old episodes of Downton Abbey or Mad Men.

Maybe have dinner in the crock pot?
Doesn't that sound homey?

What about you?
What will you be doing this weekend?

I'm joining in for:

Oh my, Liz - I am going to LOVE that new afghan you are working on. I love brown and beige so much, my whole world is neutral beige-ish! Usually afghans are way too colorful for my tastes, can't wait to see how yours turns out!

I highly suggest an entire Downton Abbey marathon - that's what I did when I was on bed rest recouperating from a surgery last year. It was ridiculous how many hours I watched it, haha. Enjoy your crafting, ma'am!

Hi Liz! Thanks for visiting my blog so that I could come back and visit yours.....it is lovely and I love your new afghan. The flowers are so petite! My goal is to someday make a granny square something. I just learned to crochet.

Hello Liz,

I love your pictures. You are working on a very beautiful and exciting project. Can't wait to see your finished piece.

I did not clean this weekend. I went to the flower show. It was spectacular.

Wishing you a great week.

Hello Liz,
I can't help but love those blue tea cups of yours. Blue tea cups are the prettiest to me. Your afghan sounds wonderful. Would love to see it when you're finished.

This weekend husband and I are starting to plant our garden. Spring is in the air. Have a peaceful weekend.
