Dots & Moons

Hey There!
Are you having a great Saturday? I hope so!
We have so much to do here in the cottage...
I need to organize my craft room
We need to prune the roses
I have a project for the Laundry Room that I would like to start
I have a couple of returns from after Christmas shopping that I need to take care

Blah BLAH BLAH!
None of that sounded fun today.
So I have designated this Saturday ....
Home Spa and Beautification Day!

I got my fingers and toes done first.
I was so tickled with the outcome that I thought I would
share it with you.
I don't mean to brag... BUT! I totally did this on my own.
The base coat and dots are OPI Kreme De La Kremlin
and the top coat was OPI Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey!

Next .... a facial and hair color!

Ciao!

I'm joining Elaine for Sunny Simple Sundays

Hey There!

It's the middle of the week... Are you having a good one? I do hope so!

I came home at lunch today and my new crock pot is here!
(How simple am I?! )
Anyway, I'm pretty excited about that.  I'll be on Pinterest later looking for a fun new recipe.
All of Christmas is put away. Got it done this past weekend. We got it all done in one day! One VERY long day.
But that is so much better than in years past.
So, I'm pretty excited about that too!

I left a little decor out that reminds me that we are still in January.
What about you?
Is your Christmas down?
What are you excited about?

New Recipe....

Hello Peeps!

We have been up to ceiling in leftovers here. So I thought I would try to find a recipe that would use some of them up. I used the recipe on the back of the frozen meatball package as a starting place.  I had a veggie tray left over from a party and the meatballs were a partial package from an appetizer that I made Christmas Eve.

This is how the package recipe went:
Meatballs + Frozen Vegetables + Pasta + a can of chicken broth = Italian Wedding Soup
Seriously! Like that didn't scream
"HELP ME! I'm almost a recipe!"
So! That is what I did. I turned it into a recipe.

Bake the meatballs as directed. ( I used the turkey meatballs)
Chop fresh veggie selection ( I used onions, carrots, celery, and some leftover cauliflower)
Saute in 3 tablespoons of olive oil until tender,
add a teaspoon of minced garlic.
add 1 cup of small pasta ( I used Acini di pepe)
1 tablespoon of Herbs de Provence
Salt and pepper to taste
Simmer until the pasta is done.

And the TA DA! Soups on!

How simple was that!

Reminder:
Fresh Cut Friday is this week.
I will have the linky tool up tomorrow
evening so that you can join in.
Have FUN!
