A Bridal Shower With a Retro Desperate Housewives Theme

I'm so excited to show you pictures from our daughter's
bridal shower. This is one of those moments in time where
everything was just perfect, but as you remember the evening
just gets better and better.

It was held at my friend Debi's home.
She has a gorgeous home and is incredibly gifted with
so many talents. Decorating, painting and hospitality to name a few.
Her big gift is party planning and yes... she is for hire. :)

Here is a link to her Etsy Shop
If you like MacKenzie Childs.... do NOT go there.
That is all I'm going to say about that. :)

The party had a fun Retro Desperate Housewives feel to it.

Each guest got to take home a darling handmade apron.

And a Betty Crocker cheese grater too!

I mean seriously... it just doesn't get any sweeter than this.

We even had a cooking show and the set later served as a
photo booth.
Look at that darling turquoise kitchen
SOOOO cute!

50's themed appetizers... including cheese whiz on crackers!

This was the gift table (pre gifts) .... so much fun!
Thank you Debi!

Dots & Moons

Hey There!
Are you having a great Saturday? I hope so!
We have so much to do here in the cottage...
I need to organize my craft room
We need to prune the roses
I have a project for the Laundry Room that I would like to start
I have a couple of returns from after Christmas shopping that I need to take care

Blah BLAH BLAH!
None of that sounded fun today.
So I have designated this Saturday ....
Home Spa and Beautification Day!

I got my fingers and toes done first.
I was so tickled with the outcome that I thought I would
share it with you.
I don't mean to brag... BUT! I totally did this on my own.
The base coat and dots are OPI Kreme De La Kremlin
and the top coat was OPI Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey!

Next .... a facial and hair color!

Ciao!
