I think we will try for the Teeter House downtown, if they are still in business!!!!!
It is a darling place and we could maybe get one of the rooms to just us!!!!!
Get 20 women in one place and wow it gets noisy!!!!haha
I get distracted too!!!! t0o much fun!!!!

Oh, I love it! Who needs to dust any-ole-way? :)
And the end result - very pretty! :-)
Your vignette is fabulous! The rest of the dusting will get done eventually!! and with some foofing too probably!
I am dusting now...or not! Love this post, thank you!
You really did transform your pretty box by giving it more dimension. The vignette is sweeter! Joan
Me too...It also takes me a long time because I get side tracked by things I love and then forget what I was doing before. Sometimes it's a long string of projects that don't get finished.
OH! I SO relate! It takes me FOREVER to dust, because I'm compelled to re-arrange everything in the process!
Glad to know there are others like me out there!! ;-)
Looks beautiful, by the way!!
Blessings!
Myrna
Hi Liz! What a fun way to get side-tracked...looks so pretty!...Debbie
LOL! Hello Liz...thanks for stopping by to say Hi it was nice to 'meet' you. I know exactly why it takes you so long to do housework...I'm the same way!!! Sometimes things just need 'tweaking' don't you think? I love it. I've only seen the one post but I will check out more once I get this off. Has spring hit Arizona yet? The weatherman has said there is a chance we could get a bit of snow here in Kansas. I hope not...I'm sick of the white stuff. I hope you have a wonderful day and I hope you'll stop by to see me soon. Take care
Maura
Liz, Your dusting problem is exactly the same one I have! One thing is for sure, the dust will wait until you get finished decorating...
Thanks for following my blog...
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I checked you out -- very cute post. I am the same way -- always seeing something to be fiddled around with! Much more interesting than dusting.

I just loved this post! And I thought I was the only one to constantly tweak my designs!....LOL I loved your final look and if I may, can I borrow a couple of your ideas? Kit
oh so pretty.. it was worth the delay to take a simple box and turn in into such beauty.. well done indeed.. the dust will wait, it does at my house.
Pretty vignette! Well worth the putzing, LOL...Christine
I do that too . . . . it does make housecleaning take a bit longer! Love what you did!
Oh how I relate to this post. I start one project and then get sidetracked by another one. I love that you change things up and try new things. This vignette is just gorgeous. I liked all of the looks. The flowers and tassel are great though. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
All your puts-ing sure was worth it. How pretty. Its so much better now. The heck with the dust. Its not going anywhere. lol
Oh, Liz! This is beautiful! Love it all!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Your house looks so pretty! I know what you mean about tweaking instead of dusting, it's a bad habit! I like what you did!
Katherine
I have that trouble when I clean out drawers..keep, toss, read, save??..oh well, time is up, shut the drawer!
Love table top!
This just might be exactly what I do when I cleaning...I swear it is when all the good ideas hit me!
I love how you've placed your Bible and flowers in that beautiful box. Your crocheted table topper is also just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!
Love it, takes me long too! Always changing, dusting, adding, subtracting, you know the drill LOL! Thanks for stopping by for Beer and Bratwurst!
Liz, love the vignette you made, The box looks lovely with the flowers in it. I also get side=tracked when I dust.
Barbara
Ah yes, flowers, one needs flowers. PERFECT!
Liz, I thought the reason we did the dusting was so we could have fun rearranging our treasures into new vignettes each time, am I wrong?
The litte box is gorgeous, the flowers were the final magic touch.
~Maggie~
I know exactly what you mean about the dusting girl.....I am in the same boat! I am constantly changing or rearranging something. :) Then I shop throughout the house trying to discover a new vignette. Your end result was lovly! Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings~

Such a cute post. Great vignette. I need to dust, too if I can get off of this computer. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Liz, I love how you have added beauty to the box. LOL - I do the same thing! Always messing with things....its a wonder anything gets done at all!

Hi Liz...
My friend, I just giggled as I read your post...I certainly can identify! This is how the cleaning goes at my place as well! Hehe! You certainly have a beautiful entry...and I just love your fabulous vignette! Ohhh...all that lace...gorgeous! I love how you decorated that beautiful carved wood box...sooo Victorian with the lace, flowers, and pretty tassel! You did great, my friend!!!

Good morning Liz, you are too funny and girl I do the same thing until I have the whole house looking like a dump where I have dumped stuff just to do one table or for that matter just to add more pillows to my sofa ha ha!! Hope you have a GREAT day my friend...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria ps that GWTW lamp is to die 4.
very cute post...I have "been there, done that"!! Table vignette is very sweet
Hi Liz,
Such a pretty tabletop! Love all the little additions. It came out perfect. Dusting? I have heard of that.....let me get out my dictinary...LOL

I do the same thing! I start out dusting and cleaning. I move this, move that. That might lead to a rearrangement of the furniture. You know how it goes.
Brenda
I have similar issues... Thanks for visiting my blog - I really appreciate it!
Thank you for stopping by! I seem to have the same syndrome!!! Isn't something just adding a little lace and flowers changes the whole look! Very pretty.. Hugs!
It is so good to read a post that actually mention's
"cleaning the house".. I was beginning to think I was all alone in this daily endeavor,
love your vignette, and your blog.
Thank You for visiting "DOWNLOBLOLLYLANE",
Hi Liz...
Thank you for stopping by. Great is They Faithfulness is one of my daddy's favorite songs as well.
It takes me forever to clean house if anyone is home. That makes me nuts. I can do it in half the time if I'm home alone!
xoRebecca
Dusting...never goes away...especially in the desert southwest. I have lots of vignettes too (dust collectors)but that it the price we pay to have lovely objects around us. Thanks for stopping by and for your comment.
Hi Liz,
Nice to meet you. Love how your vignette turned out. Cute post!
Debbie
Just beautiful!
I am so glad I found your site I have linked up, and I am now following you. Pop on over and see mine. I would love to hear from you.
It takes a long time to clean my house too. The same reason!
It is so much more fun to play with vignettes than to dust. You sound just like me. Your box does look so pretty with all of your lovely additions to it. When something looks that pretty, a little dust doesn't matter. laurie
Would you please come to my home and and help me dust...I mean arranged sweet & gorgeous vignettes?
Love the little vignette you created here. Now the little box is a focal point of beauty! I do the same thing when I'm cleaning...I rearrange and add and take away, et cetera!
Ah... but the dust will still be there when you are done ready for dusting. Inspiration is fleeting and must be caught while it is there! And it looks amazing (even with dust)
Great job even with the dust! :) I hate dusting I would much rather just play with all my stuff around the house.
