TableScape Thursday

It's Tablescape Thursday again.... Make sure you check out Susan's Blog Between Naps on the Porch for tons of beautiful ideas.

This was Sunday Dinner... I just wanted to try something different... I ended up loving this table.
I probably have shared to many pictures, but I couldn't stop myself.
Sorry! :)

The silverware is from my mom. She brought it to me on Christmas Day.
I love it! Thanks MOM!

The Stemware is from my Great, Great, Grandmother. They are from the early 1920's. Aren't the beautiful? She had tons of them and would give them to family and friends for wedding gifts. Just 2 at a time. Isn't that funny. I feel pretty lucky that I ended up with 6 perfect ones. I'm pretty sure they came from soap boxes, but I'm not sure of the details.... If you know anything about them... I would love to hear more.

The Silverware is labeled Prestige Plate.
The china is White Silk by Mikasa
.

I really love the look of the natural beige of the burlap and the white.
Add the silver and I think the combination is stunning!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are starting the year off right and sticking to your New Year's Resolutions. I personally am sticking to mine so far. I'm pretty excited about it.

If I actually achieve any of my goals I'll let you know. Have a great week!

Oh and don't forget about my giveaway..... I will be drawing on Saturday. So you still have time.Click on the Picture to learn more.

Three prizes, three winners!

Oh Liz! I LOVE this tablescape!.. First I love gingham/checked ANYTHING; but the way you've paired them up with the CROCHET doilies, and you've won me over! Top it all off with your beautiful new silverware, and your tablescape is one my most favorite this week! Now I've crocheted my own rectangular placemats, but having seen your table today, I'm feeling some inspiration to crochet some NEW ones, sometime soon! ~tina

Thanks for dropping by my blog. My husband's grandmother had a wonderful set of crystal that she gave parts away at a time. One person got the water glasses another got the wine glasses. I have the champagne glasses. I often wondered why she did this. She also had a set of glases the she gave 2 away at a time for wedding presents.

Hi Liz,
Loved you table, looks very elegant. I laughed when I did a close up of your placemats, same fabric as my red tablecloth. Bet you got them a Target too. I love that check, I also have a blue tablecloth for spring and summer.
I also have beige gingham napkins in another fabric but love them, they really go with a lot.
Nice to meet you and thanks for your kind comments on my blog.
So you sorta like to blog too, huh!
lol It's a joy isn't it!!
Blessings, Nellie

Very nice neutral setting, it could practically be used for any occassion. If you would like to learn more about your stemware
"www.replacements.com" might be a place that can help, they may even have that same pattern in their warehouse.
