A Little Home Town Pride!

Okay! I'm not trying to go all political on ya here! I Promise! This is really about me showing off and dropping a name here and there....
These 2 folks are John Shillington and Ruby Brown. John is our Music Minister (also the pastor who married my husband and I) and Ruby is a Soloist. Our Pastor, Dan Yeary also closed the RNC in prayer Thursday night. I get the joy and pleasure of listening to John every week. So it is no wonder that we are all so proud of both him and Ruby! They were invited by Cindy McCain, who is a member of our church. I hope you enjoy it.

Hi Liz. Thanks for stopping by. Well, ok, now I know where you go to church. Actually, we have been there a few times ourselves. We are members of Desert Springs Community in Goodyear....Pastor Steve Engram. Girl, we are practically neighbors! You are the 5th woman I have met blogging here in AZ! I just find that amazing. Have a great week. BTW, the duet was beautiful at the convention.

What a beautiful blog. I was so excited to see this video. I watched the speeches on TV but this was not shown. It probably was shown on CSPAN but we weren't watching it there. I'm so excited about the McCain ticket now with Sarah Palin on it. Thanks for the nice comments you made on my blog.
Blessings,
Charlotte

The beauty of having your own blog is that you can get up on any ole soapbox you wish. So you go girl!

Thanks for the blog. I didn't see John and Ruby, but did watch the conventions. I was crying throughout. It sure makes me proud. Friday I went and re registered. Republican bldg. was packed with people. P.S. Remember 911 on Thursday. Love and Prayers, Suzanne
