I don't know about you... but every year ... just about this time... it feels like someone presses the fast forward button and the year just seems to spin out of control right into the next. AND every year I proclaim that this will not happen again... AND I WILL enjoy the holidays this year!
This year is not an exception to the rule. The only difference is that I have actually gotten a few things done to ease the rush.
I did get the tags done for my little jam jars. (this is the table top part)

These will make sweet little extra gifts for family and friends. If you want the recipe for the jam, click here. It really is pretty simple and fun too.
Nothing super fancy...
Just Sweet and Simple.
I just need some kind of sentiment for the inside.... Any suggestions?

Hi Liz.....you still working on the Christmas cards? The pic of the jelly jars is fantastic....those turned out adorable. Let me know when you want to meet in Glendale....
Good for you! I always say I am going to be ahead of the game, but it never quite works out that way.
You are WAY ahead of the game ,Girl! I love the cute tags and your adorable Christmas cards! So cute. I'm going to check out the recipe.:)
Those are very sweet cards.
You make your cards?
Sigh. I wish I had time for that. I am so jealous...
Last year - my time sped waaaayyyy out of control and I didn't even get any out!
I know...bad!
But not this year. 2 more weeks and this house should be DONE! And then I can get back to living again!
I love your cards. And your tags.
And I used to make apricot jam every summer with my Mom - haven't done it in 13 years now since I lost her. Maybe that needs to change - I think it would be OK. It was just so personal - it was just too close - you know?
It's supposed to hit 96 here tomorrow. Ugh.
HUGS!
Karen
Your tags are so cute and your Christmas cards...wow!! How sweet and thoughtful that you hand make each card...they are simply stunning! And the fact that you are almost done and it is only September! I think you are definitely going to be enjoying the holidays with the extra time, my friend!! :-)
XO,
Jane
What gorgeous tags and cards! You are very creative and smart to get these done so early! At this rate you will definitely be ready for the holidays! Pamela

Adorable tags on your jam and beautiful Christmas cards. You are so ahead of the game!
What a nice gift for some lucky folks! You are so way ahead of me. I will not panic, I will not panic, I will not panic.....Yikes! I need to start planning.
What is the flower of the month for Fresh Cut Friday?
What a beautiful post!! I love these jammy tags :)
Blessings!
Gail
You are a smart girl for getting a head start like this. How true that the time really does fly and before you know it Christmas is here...Love your precious cards, so pretty!
Your little jelly tags are adorable, and I love that card!
Your pictures always, always look so wonderful--you're just GOOD! :)
I can completely relate to the fast-forward button sense about this time of year. We have children's birthdays in August and October, and then it's full-speed downhill till the end of January. Stepping on a moving train!
Good for you already getting STARTED on all that has to be done!
The best we can do--leave the uncontrollables up to the Lord.
Hugs, and happy DAY to you!

(by the way, it's still sweltering here, too!)
Are you kidding....wow good for you. You are my hero and giving me such inspiration. Thank you for sharing. :) Have a great weekend. Bobbie
