English Rose Tea Room

Well... Yesterday was my last day of vacation... Sweet Daughter will be going back to law school and all fun will end. waaaaaa
We both decided that one thing was really important to do
before she left, and that was to do tea! We try to do it at least once a year.
So we headed out to The English Rose Tea Room.

If you click on the sign... it will take you right to their web page. You can find a full menu and directions.
Some wonderful picture taking opportunities.
We got there early so it was the perfect time to take some shots.... Plus it was freezing in Carefree. So you won't see anyone sitting out side.
But if your here on a normally, beautiful, warm day and sit on the patio, you won't feel put out. It's just as pretty on the outside as it is on the inside.
A tweet centerpiece!

A well decorated chandy.... Let's head inside.
Of course, what is tea without the Queen? Here she is to greet us.

You get your choice of 2 teas. And they serve my favorite Harney and Sons.
Specifically ... Paris...It is a fruity black tea with vanilla and caramel flavors, and a hint of lemony Bergamot.

We're browsing... We're browsing...

Another well appointed chandy!

Oh! We better sit down... Tea is served!
La-lishous tea fare.

"Mom! Maaaaaam! MOM! Can we stop with the pictures now? "

Okay.... I did put the camera down... and we did have a lovely time!

It is a drive... But soooooo very worth it!
You really do feel like you have escaped the big city.
The English Rose Tea Room.... Charming to it's very core!

I am joining Kara at Elements Interiors for Whassup Wednesday.

Make sure you
go check out all the fun going on over there. Thanks Kara!

P.S. Don't forget about Friday... It's Fresh-cut Friday!

Beautiful. Your daughter is gorgeous.

Funny - I like fruity black teas but can't stand bergamont.

Hey Liz!
Love your description of your decorating style! I keep trying to pin mine down, but I guess I am just not loyal enough to any one kind! Ha! Love how your daughter sounded about the pictures. Sounds like my 20 year old.
Thanks for stopping by Sweet Country Life! Have a fantastic week!

Hi, Liz! What a beautiful place for lunch. Our local tearoom is closing. It's quite sad. I didn't go often, but it was such a great place for special events. Your daughter is beautiful and I can just hear the tone in her voice about the pictures! LOL! Sounds SO familiar!

Thank you so much for such kind words. When I first saw your post I thought you might be from around here as we have a tea room not far from us with the same name but yours is so much prettier. Lovely. I will be back Friday for your blog party.
