An Antique Show and Some Great News!

I went to the Antique Show at the State Fair Grounds this afternoon. It was a little disappointing but I did bring home this cute little creamer. I bought it from the most darling little man. He shared so much of his knowledge about depression glass and elegant glass. I just had to buy something from him. When I saw the little pitcher I couldn't pass it up. It is sitting on the counter holding toothpicks now.

On another note.... Some super, wonderful news! Gooseberries was able to renegotiate their lease and will be staying open. YAY! I have to tell you guys.... This makes me so happy. So if you are in the Central Phoenix area Please stop in and see them. I am going to try to come in and order the Special Chicken and Fruit Salad at least every other week. We need to support our small local businesses!

Your little pitcher is gorgeous! Are the berries in the glass?

I'm glad your favorite little spot is staying open. Little family business have seriously suffered in our city in the last two or three years. Lots of them are gone. You are right to support Gooseberries.
