Christmas in the Kitchen

Yea! It's Christmas! It's Christmas! Brett at The Southern Hostess is having a trim a tree party every Thursday through December. Her Blog is full of really helpful ideas for party planning and holiday festivities. If you haven't seen her blog you should. It's worth the trip!

This is my little Kitchen. I try to stick to the Blue and White with only touches of red here and there. I am also setting a goal of not spending any money on new decorations.

Here's a cute little Santa made from wooden spoons. Clever! Huh? He hangs on the pantry door.

Fat little snowmen here and there... Did anyone else see Nikki's post on Snowmen at the
Scarlet Rose Garden? Way to funny!

Hey aren't we cute!?

Hope you enjoyed my tour! Come back next week for another room! Thanks for stopping by.

I loved the tour! And I would love to be greeted each morning by those snowmen cups when I went to get my morning coffee. I wish my little 64 sq. ft. kitchen had more room to decorate. :)

We have several of the same things! I have the snowman hot chocolate dispenser, the sugar and creamer, and I have the snowman candle lamp. Too funny! I don't have the matching mugs to the set though-I have the basket and cookie jar-that's enough!

Merry Christmas!

Oh I love your blue and white kitchen and all your sweet snowmen! I have a thing for blue and white. I think I have a couple pieces of that same china (the sugar and creamer) Is it made in Japan?

Your kitchen is sooo cute! I love the wooden spoon Santa.

I'm not buying anything new this year either. Not even ribbon! And I gave away about half my stuff. I only kept the vintage & the sentimental.

Hello! I love you kitchen. All the snowmen are so cute. Just think you can leave them out for more than Christmas time.
You have a beautiful blog. Your corn soup looks really good. Living in corn country I will have to make it.
Merry Christmas! Barb

Hi Liz,
Everything looks so pretty and I love your snowmen!! I also tried not to buy any new Christmas decor this year although I did have a little weakness and gave in on a couple of items but overall I have stuck to it! Thanks you so much for the compliment about seeing my home in the pages of Romantic Country, you couldn't have given me a better compliment other than maybe something like you look really skinny today!!LOL. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!!

Your snowmen are soooooo cute! I love their little faces :)

I haven't been by to see Nikki yet. I'm trying to get through to see everyone AND decorate the house AND still make dinner and clean and... well you get the idea. Going out of town is great, but coming home to everything is busy! LOL
