Hello! I am so glad your here. I have to tell you that I took A LOT of pictures. So get a cup of coffee... Or plan on a second trip and come back again and look some more.

Sweet Like Grapes!

Oh My Goodness!
We are experiencing a very bountiful crop of grape tomatoes this year. Let me tell you! They are deeee-LISH! Grape tomatoes are supposed to be the easiest to grow. I think I have proven that! HA!

Sweet Cream!

This is my latest make over. It wasn't really a super saver.
But it is a customization that anyone can do.

I bought this at JoAnn's on their 60% off seasonal clearance. I thought that it would look really great on my kitchen/family room table with some of my dishes in it....
But it was too dark.

Ivy Tea

Look at my sweet, little, fat tea pot! She's an Ellgreave Genuine Heatmaster made in England. Probably from the 1950's maybe 40's.

Don't worry. I would never ruin a perfect pot for tea.... the lid was broken...
and she was free. My boss is a garage sale junkie. He brought it in to give away as a call blitz prize. I know... very odd, but I guess he figures different things motivate different folks differently. Funny thing is nobody wanted this little fatty. So, I won her easily. I just knew that she would be darling with ivy sitting by my sink.

A New Old Product

Have you every heard of Kirk's Castile Soap? It is my Hubby's fav. He had asked me to look for it in my shopping travels and we finally found it at Safeway.

Of course I had to try it... And I liked it! Great lather, easy rinse, and a nice clean scent. But here's the best part... It is all natural!

Brownie Sunday!

I kind of had a craving for some chocolate this afternoon. So the easiest thing is always brownies. But of course, I really wanted was chocolate goo! LOL!

So I used my regular brownie recipe but I added a scant teaspoon of instant coffee and a cup of milk chocolate chips.

BOY! That was a good call!

Here is the rest of the recipe:

*1 milk chocolate cake mix

*one stick melted butter

*3 eggs

*1 cup milk chocolate chips

*1 teaspoon instant coffee

Combine ingredients and bake in a greased 9x9 pan at 300 degrees for about 30 minutes.

DONE!

What a way to start the week... with dessert!

Our Biggest Fear....

So I thought I would try my hand at coffee staining...
Here's what I did...

I printed that great quote that I told you I love. I used a font called
Bleeding Cowboy. You can read it here if you can't read the photo...

I literally used that mornings leftover coffee grounds. I just kind of let it drip and I dabbed the whole page so that the effect would be all over the page. I also let some of the grounds fall on the paper. I think that you should have no white left. But that's just opinion. Also, I covered the page with a paper towel so that it would not be to wet.

Once that was done I pressed the page between two clean paper
towels and pressed it over night.

Super Easy Peanut Butter Pie

Super Easy Peanut Butter Pie

* 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
* 4oz. cream cheese, softend
* 1/2 cup half and half
* 8oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed
* One chocolate cookie crumb crust

Beat peanut butter and cream cheese in a bowl until creamy. Gradually add 1/2 and 1/2, continue to beat until creamy smooth. Fold in whipped topping: pour into pie crust. Freeze about 30 minutes.

This is super pea-nutty! It would be good if you garnished it with chocolate syrup. Or you could cut up snicker bars and fold them into the mixture before you freeze.
