Fresh-Cut Friday

Welcome!
Welcome!

Come on in for our Christmas Fresh-Cut Friday

Today I am sharing one of my favorite combinations.
Red roses and evergreens.
What an easy mix. You really can't go wrong.

Am I right?

I also polished my silver tea service and set the table for tea.
I know my tastes go Victorian very quickly!

Can't help myself! I love it.
It's part of why I love Downton Abbey so.

Also a great opportunity to use my grandmother's china and crystal.

Her crystal, Palais Versailles by Made by Tiffin Glass Company.
I rarely use these as they are so expensive to replace.
They have a solid gold rim and a gold embossed thumbprint all the
way around the bowl of the goblet. They really are stunning!

Her china
 Essex by Lenox

My first silver flatware.
Dresden Rose by Reed and Barton.
Still love it!

So that is my contribution.
Now let's see what you have!

Liz, such a beautiful post! Red roses, paired with greenery couldn't be a more exquisite presentation of scent and serene prettiness during the holiday season. Your table setting, featuring your grandmother's china and glasses, is elegant and refined. Thanks so much for these lovely images, enchanting!

Thanks for hosting, too and have a wonderful weekend!

Hi again Liz, would you consider leaving this linky open longer because this month there will be so many beautiful things happening every week with flowers and such for the Holidays and it would be nice to see them? Just a thought....:-)
