I won't go on and on about this book, although I could. I think most everyone has read it. If you haven't shame on you. It really is wonderful and the movie was delightful.
October's selection was a fun classic!
Murder At The Vicarage
by Agatha Christie
The first in the Miss Marple series, this is so fun and gruesome! I totally have enjoyed it.
The following are books that I read, "just for fun".
The Stranger
by Albert Camus

The Hunger Game series is so good!!!!! My Sweet Daughter got me started on these. Fun and fast moving you will be cheering for Katniss Everdeen from page 1. It is easy to understand how this has already been made into a movie and will come out in March of 2012. I hope it is as good as the book!

Thanks so much for linking-up to the What W'e re Reading Party! Yay! This is an *aweseome* post. I have been wanting to read The Hunger Games for quite some time. Bonnie loves the series, and I just keep putting it off....but I am going to try to start it by the end of November. You have read some great books lately! I am hosting our Dixie Diva Book Club meeting on Tuesday night. We are reading The Imperfectionists. :D

I must admit to not having read The Help..I will get right on it! xo
Liz,
Are the Hunger Game books mysteries? I"m not familiar with them. Do tell.:)
I read The Help this summer, and just got to see the movie last week . I loved them both !
Oh I so agree with your The Help review.
Can you believe I've never read an Agatha Christie book? Mysteries really aren't my cup of tea. :)
Oooo I love Hunger Games. SOOOO glad you read it!
I love, love, love The Hunger Games series. They're addictive, aren't they? You may want to pick up Divergent - great read and in the same vein as The Hunger Games. Thanks so much for linking up to our party!!!
It is always fun to see what you've been reading.
I am head over heals for the Hunger Games and not embarrased to admit it (even though I am 3 times older than Katniss ;) So glad you read them. I can't wait to see the movie.
I read The Help this summer and enjoyed it but wasn't blown away by it. In fact I didn't like the end at all. I havn't seen the movie yet and wonder if they might change the end to please the croud (or at least me LOL).
Great shares!
Caroline
Aha ah I made a similar post about the help, finished in 5 days! I may look at the hunger game... Who wants to read Albert Camus? I wsas one of the lucky ones who did not have to analyse it from my French baccalaureate.
