The detail is still so lovely on it.
Unfortunately, I don't believe that it is a real Conductor's Watch.
And, sadly I never met the man that carried it.
But I treasure it none the less.

Wonderful that you have this family piece. My grandpa had a pocket watch and my mom had it, but someone stole it...very sad. I do have my hubbys that I bought him in 1976 for the Bicentenial.
Oh, how I love that pocket watch! It reminds me of the watch that my Dad used to have, and when he passed away, it was handed down to me. It was broken and one of the doors was missing, so I gave it away, but just looking at yours brings a smile to my face. Thank you.

What a true treasure! I am lucky enough to have my grandpa's watch and wear it sometimes on a heavy gold chain.
A gorgeous keepsake - I have an old pocket watch from Tim's grandpop but it is a work watch with a leather strap instead of a chain...
I LOVE it!
