Prone to Bling!

(If you would like to have this image, you may have it!)

I hope you are having a rich cup of coffee and a yummy breakfast!

Just think! We still have another day of weekend. WOOHOO! Thank you Labor Day!

As you enjoy your weekend, ponder this...

God made you the way you are. If you love pretty shiny things, it's because The Lord gave you that gift. An appreciation of beauty. Don't abuse the gift, but love it and Thank Him!

Have a great Sunday!

What wonderful thoughts!

About Theresa's little red truck, I have no idea if it's still available, these pics were taken back in March. But it wouldn't hurt for you to contact her and ask! :-)

Have a wonderful Sunday and Labor Day!
Hugs,
Anne

This is my first visit to your blog. I found you through the Lovely Blogs Collection. (I try to visit a couple new ones every few days.)

Anyhow, I LOVE what you wrote today...because, you see, due to some faulty teaching we were under for many years, beautiful things were looked at as sinful. It was all about being as plain as possible and not drawing attention to yourself. Also, acquiring beautiful things was considered a waste of money, since all things will one day burn up anyway.

But we were set free from that teaching, and I realize that although the most important beauty we can have is a Christ-like spirit, after that, it really is OKAY to want to be surrounded with beautiful things. I am all about beauty now. In fact, I call my blog "Fill My Cup with Beauty" because I love beautiful things and want to fill my life (and the lives of others') with beauty.

Blessings to you,
Patti
