Do you ever just buy yourself flowers? I do. These are some cute little daisies that I picked up at WalMart. They are so simple, but they have that sweet floral smell and last forever.
Just a little pick-me-up.
Just a little pick-me-up.
It is pretty busy here.
This weekend we take Sweet Daughter to Law School. What a mixed bag of emotions. She is my best friend and I will miss her tremendously! But to say that I am also incredibly proud of her choices and accomplishments, would be like saying an ant is small.
She is all that I ever prayed for.
Thank you Lord!

Good Morning Liz Sweetie...
A beautiful post. Oh and DD is going off to Law School. How exciting for all of you.
I will be saying some prayers for you all. DD to adjust in a new surrounding, and you and DH to adjust without her being in the house. It is an adjustment, and a sad one when they are our best friend. Been there, done that. (Yes I did survive. I stayed real busy).
Thanks for sharing the flowers this morning they are so beautiful.
Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
Daisies are a sweet treat...and so is your adorable chair behind them! Everytime you post a pic of that chair my heart goes pitter patter.:)
PS My oldest son will be a senior this year at UNT and just took the LSAT.I will keep you posted on where he ends up.
Congrats to your sweet girl! Wishing her every success.

Oh Liz, the flowers are just so pretty and your daughter is such a lovely and accomplished person. I know you will miss her so much. You have every reason to be proud. Hope you all have a safe trip and God Bless. Hugs, Marty
Love daisies...they are the pattern on my china....
Have fun in the travels...you Should be proud girlfriend...I would be jumping backwards...well, I would at least try!!
I completely understand and it wasn't until I was in similar situations that I began to truly understand the definition of bittersweet. Congratulations on raising such an accomplished daughter!
On another note - I used to buy flowers for my desk every week. I worked in a very stressful environment and having flowers on my desk (some days) were the only bright spot I had!! LOVE Daisies - those and pink carnations are my favorite!
Prayers are headed our way for you and your daughter! I know you will miss her!
The daisies are lovely! Fresh flowers are a must...like air;)!
Enjoy!

liz, sometimes we just need to have a fresh bouquet to pick our spirits up! you have a lot ahead of you and i know what you are going through. our children reach a point in their life that they need to stretch their wings to fly solo and use what we have taught them to help them navigate their way through life.
((hugs))
