TableScape Tuesday II

It's TableScape Tuesday again! If you want to play go to
Susan's Blog at Between Naps on the Porch
Every Tuesday is a party!
Another table from my Progressive Fall Tea. These are my Grandmother's Dishes... Aren't they
pretty? They are beautiful at Christmas time too.

I mix my expensive stuff with my bargains. It insures that the bargains look as good as the expensive stuff. The napkin rings are from Walgreen's. I purchased them about 10 years ago.
Yet another truth about me.... I don't get rid of much. : )

The little lanterns are from Hallmark. They were on sale the day before Thanksgiving about 5 years ago.

This tablescape would be great for Thanksgiving. I will probably go to the Godiva Chocolate Store and buy little foil wrapped chocolate turkey's and put them at each place setting.

Next Tuesday I will show you the last table....

If your serving Godiva save me a seat! Your lemon slices are just perfect! I too love to find bargains-and you can mix them with the expensive stuff. It always makes me laugh when people ask where I got something and they are assured it is something expensive and I tell them, "oh, the dollar tree!" LOL

If you would like to join Trim the Tree Thursday where we are going to show off our holiday decor from any holiday comment on my blog! I would love for you to join!

I love the fruit you've put on everyone's plate !! so cute! and the white table cloth looks fabulous, I had one years ago but the relatives left too many marks :) so I switched to dark, but I miss my white, it makes all the food pop and stand out! Its on my list to get though!

Thanks for your comments too! ~ Hugs ~ Cynthia

I really like the lemon wheel, love the heritage of your dishes, and the uniqueness of the lanterns with the cutouts.
Your centerpiece server matches really well with the lanterns.
Looking forward to next Tuesday.
