And Big White...

As some of you sweet friends know... My birthday was this week. I'll be sharing more about that later...  But because my birthday is in October and my Sis-In-Law has her birthday in September we
celebrate together. So this Sunday evening was our family celebration.  I had started her gift a couple of months ago but I was so happy that I got it finished in time for our get-together! We also got her this sweet little compote. If you love milk glass you will LOVE this stuff.

If you want to know how I made her scarf, you can click here or on my Ravelry page button on my sidebar.

Don't forget next Friday is Fresh-Cut Friday!
Have a great WEEKEND!

I'll be joining Claudia at Mockingbird Hill for Favorite Things Saturday!

  11. Liz, that scarf is beautiful! I have to check out that pattern, as I love to crochet (although I'm so busy right now crocheting things for the shop that I barely have any time for something new!) Thanks so much for linking up this week and Happy Birthday!

  15. Happy Birthday to YOU! What a sweet milk glass piece. My grandma used to collect milk glass and when I was younger and in my "oh so contemporary stage" so I just did not "get it". Now however, I love it and wish that I had appreciated her collection sooner and am now starting my own from scratch. Your scarf is perfect too. I am really just starting to crochet (I know, where have I been) and will check out your pattern. Have a happy weekend.

    Hugs,
    Susan and Bentley

  16. Oh, I wish I could do that! My sweet grandmother taught me to crochet years ago and I have lost the knack. This makes me want to dig out my supplies and start again. It is just beautiful! I also collect milk glass and love the piece you have featured. Thank you for dropping by Still Woods and following. I am about to be your newest follower! Blessings from Still Woods Farmhouse
