Fall! Love it!

Hey everyone!
Are you all ready for Fall?

Every year Fall sneaks up on me and before
I know it, I'm in the heart of it.

Is that how it is for you too?

I always have big plans.... gardening, baking, entertaining.
And every year I'm going to slow down and enjoy the season.

In reality ... I can't do both can I?
Do more and get fun stuff done AND slow down and enjoy?
It's a choice.

So that is really the question...

 Slow down and enjoy?

or follow up on those big plans?

 It's time to decide....

Not really... I haven't decided yet. But hey! I have the Fall
Decor up and we are enjoying it. :)
I hope you are having a great week so far.

I'll be joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Table Top Tuesday

  1. Your Fall decor is very nice, great arrangements. It is hard to slow down this time of year and get everything done~I know exactly what you're talking about.

  5. Your home looks lovely all decked out for Fall.
I totally agree, enjoy or get into a whirlwind! I plan a lot of things, but then, too tired to execute!
    Enjoy the season!
Here from Tabletop Tuesday, and thanks for your visit!

  6. Oh it looks so pretty. I think answer to do both is to simplify. I know I can fall into the trap of doing stuff just to be doing it...not because I love it. I had to learn it the hard way...but I am slowly working on it....SLOWLY, I might add!!! I love your decorations.

  8. Hi Liz

Your fall vignette in front of the wall clock is simply stunning! I love the colours with that little hit of light blue in the tea tin among the otherwise autumn hues.

    Have a great day!

  13. Thanks so much for visiting! Sorry about your blog buttons -- I paid someone to make one for me, and it was stolen! Right off my blog, no less.

Love your fall decor, especially that little scarecrow. We are empty nesters too, and I do not do a ton, either. I pretty much ignore Halloween.

  18. I know exactly how you're feeling. I feel the urge to GET STUFF DONE!, but I so want to enjoy the season. I thought I would be better prepared for Fall this year (in terms of decorating), but I just couldn't get into it while it was still so hot outside. Yay for some cooler temps!

  27. Hi Liz: I missed this post when you first put it up. You have so many sweet vignettes. I especially love the pillows on your sofa and the one with the beautiful big clock. Of course, you can join the Cottage for trick or treat. I get really good candy bars, in case the little goblins don't eat them all, then the left overs are my favorites!..Happy Tuesday..Judy
