Is this altered art? If anyone knows the definition ...can ya let me know?
I made this for my friend that lives in Kansas City. Saturday was her birthday.
Sadly, it didn't arrive in this condition.

ReplyDeleteHi Liz! Altered art is just stuff that has been altered into art...like taking a spoon & turning it into art. Or a tole tin & a doll head & making a doll...basically it's using ordinary objects & transforming them into art. I think your lovely creation is probably closer to a collage than to altered art. Whatever it is, it's beautiful....wish it had arrived safely to the recipient.
