Cindy at My Romantic Home (click image above) had the best idea I've ever heard of in the whole entire blog-i-sphere! I have spent all day lurking on all of the different blogs that have participated. Now I think I will spend the evening going back and leaving comments.

I'm picking this vignette because it has my blue and white dishes in it and my new cute lamp that I bought in Prescott AZ last weekend. I kind of have a weakness for cute little lamps and I love this one. Plus, it is a great souvenir of our weekend. The Blue Danube dishes I started collecting when my Grandmother willed a starter set to me. I have been collecting them since then. The company started making them in the mid 50's but the original company has been sold several times over. I think this is the only pattern they make. Anywho! I love them.

I love that little area. My mom collects those plates also. My grandmother also collected them! I love lamps too!

I love your blue and white plates. The little lamp is cute too. My mother-in-law collected various plates and other blue and white things like tea pots, etc. The plates are still hanging on the walls in our kitchen from when she lived here. I've never really appreciated them until recently.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love all blue and white dishes. I have been hooked by cobalt blue for years and have a hard time saying no to any older piece that I may find. Your vignette is lovely and I especially liked the fact that you were able to double up some of your plates on the rack. I always hate it when a rack will only safely hold 3 or 4 plates, yet it takes up so much wall space. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and have a great week!
