Fresh-Cut Friday in June

Hi Sweet Peas!
Happy Thursday Night!
That means that tomorrow is Friday AND that means the day after that is SATURDAY
My favorite day of the week! eeeeeek! I love it.
I'm taking Mom shopping to finish accessorizing her new bathroom.
FUN!
But it also means that its time to talk flowers.
Fresh Flowers!
Specifically Fresh-Cut Flowers!
SO!
Welcome to June's edition of Fresh-Cut Friday!

I think our Safeway is stepping it up in the Floral Department.

They brought in Peonies and Hydrangea this Spring.
I was so torn!
Hydrangea??? Peonies???
What to choose!

But I finally settled on the Peonies. I know you all get these so easily
back east and in the midwest.
They are pretty rare in these parts and frankly I have never bought them before.

What a treat!
Just look at that ruffly prettiness!

I also picked up a small bunch of Mini Carnations.
They were on sale and I thought they were such a pretty color.

So that is my Fresh-Cut Friday post!
I hope you enjoyed it.

And now...
It's all you!

Oh I love peonies! I can smell them in my mind! Mine are close to blooming and I can hardly wait. Too bad it doesn't last longer! The carnations are pretty too- especially in that cute sugar bowl! Nice collection of cut flowers! Thanks for hosting!

Your Fresh Cut Friday choice this month was perfect timing for the peonies in our area. The mini carnations are sweet in the sugar bowl. Thank you for hosting Fresh Cut Friday, and I have linked up!

Hi Liz, thank you for inviting me even though my flowers are not really real! I'm so glad you stopped by so that I could visit your blog.
Thanks for hosting and I'll remember to link up when I post 'real live' flowers!

Hi Liz,

Your pretty pink peonies are classic! What a charming and romantic arrangement of all your fresh cut picks! Peonies are precious to me as I grew up with their gorgeous scent in Canada and miss them tremendously here in Greece. The Mediterranean climate does not allow these heavenly flowers to grow here. In the meantime, I will take joy in your bouquets!

Thank you for hosting once again. Your peonies are so pretty. Many people grow them here in the Pacific Northwest and they are a lovely addition to the yards..I have yet to plant any but they are in the yard of my dreams.
Our Safeway also has been getting in some interesting flowers, it makes it so nice to pick up a bunch or two while doing the shopping.
Have a happy weekend. xo
